  Oh man, I knew that Charles was Lord Boreal! Grumman was really John Parry? That one I didn't see coming at all. All in all, so far, a really good book.

    I didn't see the Grumman=Perry connection either.

      Is it so that the monkey never talked?, At lest I don't remember it ever saying anything. I mean, i think i remember other adults' daemons talking.

        I'm sure it talked, there was reference made to it talking to Mrs. Coulter, but we just never heard it.
